About Diana Gorin

At a recent California show!
A little about my work and inspiration:
My inspiration is simple- the natural world. From a young age my family has made many trips to national parks that always inspired me to think bigger than myself, and seek out the beauty of our landscape. This lifetime of adventures has always been joined by my attempts to capture my feelings on canvas through media. My first art teacher said "You use a lot of paint" and nothing has changed since that time. Now as a fine artist living the classic California life filled with mountain trips, surfing and climbing, I work with palette knives, piping bags, sewing, and traditional paint brush to capture a 3D world into my art pieces.
